 Robert
is a core partner of the firm and leads its Compliance
Services Department.
A vastly experienced accountant he brings particular expertise to
bear in the areas of construction
and manufacturing, engineering and charities
though the firm's compliance clients range across the full business
spectrum.
He is expert at finding both conventional and lateral solutions
to client problems though practicality is always the primary driver
and of course, clients are always kept fully informed of taxation,
auditing and accounting requirements.
Being the partner with responsibility for McCabes' own financial
reporting keeps him in especially close touch with the practical
issues affecting many of the firm's clients.
His interests are extensive and he is a member of the Board of Management
of Edinburgh's Stevenson College, Treasurer of YMCA (Scotland),
Treasurer of Brain Tumour Action and an Associate member of the
Scottish Charity Finance Directors Group.
