Jeff Meek is McCabes' Managing Partner and a co-founder of the firm. He also leads its Corporate Finance Department and thus, the firm's dealmaking activities. A Chartered Accountant and Certified Management Consultant, he acts for a wide range of clients in both the private and public sectors throughout the UK and overseas, providing a full range of consultancy and corporate finance services.
Widely regarded as a key player in the country's creative and technology sectors, he takes a particularly active interest in helping clients to evolve their businesses, while developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the markets in which they operate. His skills in strategic planning and transaction management are employed to create innovative and complete solutions on behalf of clients.
Meek lectures on fund raising and strategic planning as well as on tax and funding issues as they affect Creative Industries. His current external appointments include Treasurer to TIGA (The Independent Games Developers Association Limited) and Director and treasurer of Scottish National Photography Centre Ltd (SNPC).
His many professional interests which include member of the Association of MBA's and the Securities Institute are matched by his personal ones including membership of BAFTA and Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts.
